View the before and after- I wanted to showcase the before-and-after images of this grad image. It was a quick image I took because every other angle I tried didn't seem to work for the lower-sitting Camero. Doing something overhead seemed get everything in that I wanted to, even the background. After reviewing the image in post-production, there were many distractions in the background. I was able to take them out with a new program I am working with. Turning the saturation down, except for the subject, allowed the car to be black, kept the subject the brightest part of the image, and made the image look edgy.

Hello,

It’s been a little quiet around here, and I wanted to share why. Over the past few months, I’ve been managing chronic back pain and fatigue. Between physio, massage, and working with my naturopath to tackle sleep issues, I’ve had to slow down and give my body the rest it needed.

Now, as I balance healing and family milestones coming up, my daughter’s graduation and all the celebrations that come with it, vacations in summer, and a few appointments. I want to make things a little more predictable. I’ve been thinking deeply about how to continue creating meaningful work that fits this new season of life.

I’m so excited to introduce Beautiful Spring Studio Portraits, a simple, joyful way to capture the people and pets you love most to start the Spring/summer season. No, this is not the background. I have a newly purchased background, I am ready to share it with you soon. I will be adding other options to these sessions, so at the end of the year, you will have a variety of images to produce an album of your beloved pets.

I have had a lot of inquiries about end-of-life sessions or aging pets. I know there is a strong need to have this done.

Stay tuned for my upcoming Spring Studio Portraits, which will take place at the end of May. This gives me time to organize and promote them. This three-day event will take place in my studio.
