Very excited about how this turned out from my shoot with Marcia and her family for Jaden’s grad - as I was backing up the photos, I had to take a quick peak as Stephen’s car was a focus for several of the photos and we had some fun on a truly beautiful night considering what kinds of weather we’ve had leading up to now!

One last one for today, don’t let little Oli’s size fool you, this little pirate dog is such a sweetie, but he knows what he wants - and sometimes that’s not to listen or going the direction you want him to! But he gets away with it being so adorable. During our shoot he kept wanting to go visit other people, but generally they seemed pretty ok with that!

Another day, another dog portrait session! Josie is a very sweet but rather shy little girl, but she is for sure a ride or die to her hoomans, Ashley and Kirk. She’s just happy so long as she’s part of the experience! The three of them love to go on adventures together and with that in mind we hit up the local trails.

When I had a chance to shoot with Marie and Jeff last week, it seems some client’s pets just seem more like they have an internal monologue, and Matilda is no exception…

When the hoomans just want to “go for a nice walk” but you have business to attend to! Too many trees to sniff, let’s go hoomans!

And this little girl, Rocky - named from Project Hail Mary - which is amazing because I only just saw that movie *last night*! Rocky was a little bit shy but extremely playful, and such a sweetie. She would sell her wand toys for a tube snack!

LOOK. AT. THIS. FLUFFY. BOI. I had the chance to meet/work with Margot and her cat, Trip the tripod! Trip was a dream to work with, he was very friendly and a little bit playful (thought my shoelaces and camera bag’s straps were great fun) and he’s so. Darn. CUTE!

After my last post, it seems I’ve lost a few followers! Not sure if it’s bots dropping off or people who are distinctly not allies? Well if that’s the case, I’m here to tell you that I’ve been an ally all my life - I’d much rather be excluded for who I include rather than included for who I exclude. So for those who unfollowed, I hope you have some time to reflect and consider why someone else’s lifestyle, that has nothing to do with yours, bothers you so much.
