***Warning Longer post ahead*** Before I posted, I looked at previous post and realized it’s been 3 years since I last posted. Time really flies, and it doesn’t wait for anyone. I swear I’ve been here all the time, however I haven’t been proactive on instagram because I’ve been taking my time getting my mind right and pursuing other passions/opportunities. I didnt’ really want to say I will retire because in these three years…I’ve been photography baby showers, family photos, and few weddings here and there for friends and family. One of the most important things I’ve learned as a creative is doing the things you love. When I get a chance to shoot for a friend or family, it’s my love language and gratitude towards them. Biggest lesson I’ve learnt is to not do shoot for the sake of exposure or to inflate your own ego as it will never satisfy your moving goal posts. For this wedding shoot, it meant a lot as I had the honor to photograph ‘s wedding.

My personal note to . It’s been a while since we’ve last seen each other and talked! Last time was probably practicing Kung fu and joking around performing mosaic and new years. You’ve grown up so much! And sometimes I’m embarrassed of what I’ve might of done stupidly during kungfu class lol. And it was so nice to catch up during engagement photos with dark clouds of mosquitoes hovering over us! 😂 Thanks for connecting with me and following my photography throughout these years! It means a lot. I am ecstatic about how these portraits turned out and I hope you go print and enlarge these photos or coffee books! I wanted to create luxurious fine art wedding portraiture photos that you don’t see much of in Saskatchewan but in larger cities as they are often very difficult to plan for, and requires multiple disciplines and mastery of photography to get it right. I really hope you enjoy them as they are timeless and captures the love between you and Ryan! I am honoured to be your photographer! Thank you!

I love working with local models, muas, and designers. During the two years, I was on hiatus, I really gained an appreciation for local talent. When you have a group that thinks alike and strives for growth and maturity… the process becomes a blessing ☺️ I really want to highlight our group coming together to showcase the talent we have here in Saskatchewan.

Recently, I had the pleasure to meet Garfield of Morris Auto Repair. I love being able to talk with business owners and getting to know their business.The approach to this shoot is different from my others because you are trying to tell a story while keeping the true essence and pride of the business as a forefront of this shoot. This is what draws people into that business. For this one I wanted to emphasize about being proud of your own business, and showcasing the hard work and passion that goes into it.

I don’t share enough or celebrate the things I get to do during the year or highlight the amazing businesses I’ve gotten the opportunity to work with. One of the many highlights was being able to shoot product images for , you get to the products up close and see the absolute passion and quality of work/craftsmanship that is put into the products. It was the first time I got to bring out the color consistent Siros lighting for work. If you are planning for a wedding and figuring what colors work best for your lips, or maybe a makeup artist in need for a custom color for your kit, this the go to place in !!! When things get better, and I’m able to resemble a team, I hope to showcase those products upclose on beauty projects 🙂

After revisiting this image. I can’t believe I never posted this photo here. This image (2nd slide was the original) was from three years ago when I first shot with of . I remember I was at an H&M store in Hong Kong when I tried setting up this shoot through Facebook 😂. I would take pictures of the store ads and tell her what I wanted to achieve. Although I wasn’t technically proficient at the time, I enjoyed the process of telling a visual story.
