A little glimpse into my day-to-day. These days I find myself at working from home with one little- my sweet boy. My middle started Grade 1 this year, so that makes me a boy mom by day. Gotta say I am loving these solo adventures that he takes me on. Bugs and dirt and diggers - oh my! His personality is fiery and adventurous but his heart is so tender and loving. I just love being his mom. These are the good old days. These are the days.

In August I had the opportunity to capture the Renaud family. We had gorgeous weather but also - bugs! Thankfully the tiny creatures did not stop these boys from showing me their bright smiles. I loved watching their curiosity blossom in nature as they did what little boys do and jumped right in to interact with the environment surrounding them. Loved spending this time with your family - keep on adventuring!

Loyal companion, true friend and pal- while watching my youngest two children play in the sandbox together this morning with our dog Rigby the tune of "You've Got a Friend in Me" cycled on repeat in my mind as he sat there beside them in waiting. Content as could be, immersed in their presence as they shoveled and scooped their way through the morning and into the afternoon. My youngest daughter and this dog have a very special bond and these images captured it so well today!

These fall colours. This beautiful family. Those precious smiles!
Capturing moments for families to hold year after year - I just think it is magic that I can do that using my camera, that families can then look back, turning the page to a see a moment otherwise gone. When I am editing, the photos that I choose are always the ones that stop me in my tracks, they tell a story, inspire wonder, hold immense beauty or emotion- they always make me feel something real. I choose images of moments I know that my families will treasure and I think: "They are going to love this one forever..." This is one of those photos. I hope that you guys will love this one forever, Adams Family. 🤍

I had a blast capturing these images with the Murphy Family on Saturday evening! Their beautiful and sweet little daughter sure stole the show! She made me laugh over and over again as we made special Fairy wands out of stands of grass to hand over to her glowing mama to be. If there ever was a family that looked like they came straight out of a Fairy tale then I would say it is this family - for sure! Picture perfect moments and such beautiful colours we had with the stunning sunlight surrounding us in the Valley. Congratulations to the Murphy Family on expecting your newest addition! Thank you for the privilege of capturing these memories of your beautiful family in these last blossoming moments before you are officially a family of four, I wish you all the very best!

Happy to be sending this session off to a wonderful couple who wanted some business headshots along with some personal images too. Our winter’s can be long, but the snow in the background of these photos sure makes for a beautiful backdrop among the trees!
