This page has been uncharacteristically quiet.

To those who know me best, know that somewhere in the past year I lost my passion for photography.

To be frank, it's been disheartening. My camera has sat dormant and quiet for so long.

A familiar phrase I've been hearing the past 12 months and as recent as yesterday, "where is your camera?"

Once upon a time you never saw me without it.

I am working to rekindle the love I had with the lens.

It think it's time to shift the focus of F.A.E. Photography - it's no secret that I prefer action and candid shots.

So I will be straying from portrait photography - I will honour commitments I've already made and may take on the occasional family shoot but the wheels are turning and my brain is spinning.

I have a few ideas I'd really like to pursue, so though it's quiet times for F.A.E. Photography right now, I assure you - it won't last long!

To those who continue to support me and my passion - thank you, I am grateful for you.

It has taken me a while to post these - but I was privileged to attend and photograph the wedding of two amazing people, Roberta and Michael Griffiths.

I am just not sure that my simple camera could do their love justice - not even pictures could adequately tell their love story.

It's finally done!

The numbers may be out of sequence, but that's okay. I was able to raise some money to donate to the Arnprior Food Bank so thank you to everyone who participated!!

I will be emailing the link to the album to everyone that took part in the shoot so they can choose the proof they want.

After being sidelined with Strep Throat for a week, I was finally able to sit down and begin to work on photos from the Pole/Paddock family photo shoot.

There is a certain amount of apprehension and fear when you show someone their photos for the first time.

It's easy to take pride and share your own work of subjects of your choosing, but when you are hired by a client, you want your photos to be particularly spectacular.

You want to capture something special.

So when someone tells me they are happy with their photos, that they LOVE their photos or think they are beautiful - well it's a feeling that's difficult to put into words.

It isn't about ego or success - it's about making someone happy and giving someone special memories that they want to hang on their wall or frame for their stand.

That's what I take pride in.
