Juvinile brown headed cowbird DEMAMDS to be fed. Brown headed cowbirds are a parasitic bird that rely entirely on other birds to raise their young. Here a juvinile one flew up to a sparrow and started screeching at it for food until eventually the sparrow flew off. I am uncertain if the sparrow in the picture was the actual parent but it clearly had enough.

Cedar waxwings eating flower petals. This was my first time seeing a cedar waxwing. Cedar waxwings are beautiful bird known for eating the berries on cedar trees. The wax part of their name comes from the wax on their wingtips. Although they do appear to look glossy like wax on the rest of their body.

Black and White warbler. Warblers do not nest in my area, making them a rare sight. I have never seen any warblers before making this one a real treat. What stands out about this warbler is the striped pattern. Most warblers are colorful. What is your favourite warbler?
