If these ‘doors’ could talk…I wonder what they might say?
Rescued from the farmhouse my Grandma grew up in before it was torn down.
My Dad reluctantly gave John and I the ok to brave the stairs to see what we might find.
when I saw the doors it was LOVE at first site…
Little did I know 30 years later they’d be in pictures… and up on Instagram.
If these doors could talk… I’d love to know more about my Grandmas childhood…
‘sigh’.

Guys I’m so jazzed to share my friend Britt’s beautiful site remodel…
full of many linen and lovely things she sent all the way up to me in Canada to photograph.
.
It’s been such a dream to work with Britt…
from the very first zoom we had ….
I knew she was a kindred spirit the moment she mentioned the word ELEVATE.
.
What started as ‘could I send you a little linen to photograph….?’
turned into…
I’d love to have your photos throughout my site…
one GIANT and very heavy box later… 
and here we are.
And amongst all the linen and lovely shooting… 
Britt became a 1:1 client cause she wanted to make her own ‘for real camera’ magic.
and oh my word… has she ever.
You’ll find her gorgeous kitchen/linen apron photos on her feed and through her beautifully curated site.
Honestly I’ve never seen anyone learn so fast.
Thank you Britt (and Matt too)….
this has been a dream.

I’d love for you to pop over and visit 
there’s nothing lovelier than supporting the makers of this world.
I still can’t believe Britt sews ALL the lovely linens herself!! How I will never know.
Here’s to dreamy creative projects for us all.

So interesting how you can be going about your day…
doing the ordinary things…
When suddenly an idea comes in.
I was making eggs this morning when a very clear idea whispered in my ear…
an idea that would have seemed INSANE even yesterday.
.
Wait what? Really?
.
It was very much like the inspiration I had in California to find my very own studio space.
Clear as day…I could see it.
and it wasn’t long before it came true.
I have some writing to do…
but right now (in this moment)… I see a shift happening soon and it gives me a little shiver just thinking of it.
hmmmmmmm…..
In other news, I believe Ive broke my insta-reels-spell 
this is post #3 in a row. Woo hoo.
