We recently took a trip to Vancouver, on the ferry I was quite taken by this frame.

This man was alone the whole ride, I spoke to him for a great 20 minutes after this photograph. He was travelling across to meet up with this lovely lady that he met back when he was young. He fell in love with her like a sailor gazing across a bar.

Sadly enough, that was as far as he told me before he needed to go away. His words inspired me. Love is timeless.

Sidenote: The grain was left intentionally. While visiting Vancouver, I decided to do a mini-project. This mini-project was/is intended for me to learn to trust my natural artistic eye. I am more than proud of this quick 'snap' of a photograph.

Although, a more corrected version is to follow. Keep an eye out!

Friends and Family,

Another, more creative, day around PEI.

I find that inspiration has been coming from new places these days. It is absolutely amazing how much better my creativity is now that i'm practicing daily.

Yesterday we drove along the left side of the island (North Cape, West Point, Arcadia) with our friend Ai from Japan. Although the storm has not really let up yet., our parade wasn't stormed on!

PEI is absolutely beautiful! It looks just like Ontario, just red and windy.

On Tuesday we took a local road just to see where we end up. There I found this old boat. Took many great photos with my back-up camera!

Yesterday, after a day of cow work and field work, it as nice to go to the beach! Only 7km (15miute drive) from or hosts' home. I luckily decided to bring my DSLR on this outing... too bad the memory card was almost full. I ran out o memory very quickly, but luckily my back-up ws there for me!

There was a beautiful lighthouse, pictures to come!

Last night was an absolutely beautiful excuse for a nice walk on the beach! And of course, we brought the camera bags along!
