Hello friends!
Yesterday I sent out an email that made me so very sad… on Sunday I stepped wrong and sprained my knee. I’m off my feet for the next 8-10 weeks 😢. For all of the families that were signed up for The Front Porch Project 2024 and I didn’t get to see due to my injury… I will provide a make up option towards the end of summer/early fall. For now… I am putting this project on PAUSE

I am so very thankful to all of the families I have been able to visit so far this year! I will be sorting/organizing/editing your images over the next couple of weeks! As well as getting these wonderful donations to the food bank (hopefully by the end of this week!) Once I have that sorted with them I will keep y’all posted for sure.

I have cried so much. This project means so much to me and I know that so many in our community need our help. But I know in my heart that everything happens for a reason and all will work out for the best. I just have to heal and keep pushing forward 💛

Just a quick note of gratitude 🤍
Y’all I wasn’t sure if there would be a FPP ‘24… Life has kept me busy and I haven’t been staying on top of social media posts so I wasn’t sure if I the algorithms would even show me on anyones feed to spark interest for the project this year. Boy was I wrong! You guys sure do know how to make a gal feel loved!
Within 24 hours of opening up the bookings to repeat families… over 70 spots have been booked!!! I have 4 cities on my waiting list and I’m back in my calendar trying to figure out how many more dates to add!
I truly do feel that this year the food banks need us more than ever… and if y’all are willing to put up with me and my silliness… I’m willing to put the time and effort in!
Thank you for restoring my confidence. Thank you for wanting to help me in helping others. And just thank you for being YOU!

To all the families that have already completed your questionnaire… I read each one and appreciate your feedback and kindness!

I LOVE the ideas on how to add to this and make it even better!
I will be taking names for volunteers… I hear some kiddos need volunteer hours and I can always use help to collect food and keep families smiling!

This year celebrates FIVE years of helping others and I can’t wait to see soooo many of your families again this year!
