It’s the end of a beautiful era for one of the most iconic and dangerous beaches in Iceland.

Nature will always reclaim what is hers, Reynisfjara is no different. What was once a vast and expansive beach has now reclaimed by the ocean.

I will miss admiring this beautiful beach and the basalt columns each time I visit Iceland.

Happy Winter Solstice! ❄️

Yep, It’s that time of year again for highlight reels of the best parts of everyone’s year🤪

As much as I enjoy the winter as a time of rest I’m homesick for the backcountry and the warmer, longer days doing what I love to do most with the people I love most.

I am so grateful for each and every one you - friends and strangers alike who have supported me, sent messages or just simply share the same passion for the great outdoors as I do. Thank you.
