One of my most challenging hikes to date, and also one of my most rewarding ones. I am a bit of a sucker for challenging hikes that leave you feeling sore the next day.
About 17km, 8hrs 22min on a trail that is exceptionally steep most of the way (at least that means you gain elevation quickly). Mostly forested until the rock scramble section, but when you would break out seeing the mountain peaks come out was fantastic.
The rock scramble sections were my favourite part. Picking the route, watching for loose rocks, and looking back to see how quickly we were climbing up. Pictures can’t do how steep this was justice.
A favourite for sure.
