Marina Kulich Photography My passion for photography began in grade 5 when my mom signed me up for an after–school photography program. Priceless.

My schoolmates and I had no idea what we were doing but the adventure wasn’t lost on us. To have a film camera in our hands, a fairly expensive item to be lent to a child, and have the freedom to be creative was exactly what a child’s imagination is made of. We loved developing our own masterworks; finally seeing what we photographed and showing it to our parents with pride. Love of creation, nature and people alike, became precious to me and photography allows me to capture that beauty. A photograph evokes all sorts of emotions; it is a keepsake of what was. I long for my work to tell stories that come along with life. Sad, happy or funny, they are all worthy to be remembered.
