I've been thinking about AI headshots a lot lately.
Clients are coming to me after trying them. The AI version looked polished and nothing like them, and their professional network let them know it.
There's a broader pattern here that I think is worth talking about. Companies that went heavy on AI imagery are walking it back. Not because it looks bad technically, but because of what it signals to the people looking at it.
Real photography is more valuable now than it was two years ago. That's a strange thing to say, but I think it's true.
