One of my favourite moments from this beautiful Greek wedding was the tradition of writing names on the bride’s shoes. 🤍

The idea is that whichever names wear off by the end of the night are said to be the next to get married — such a fun and meaningful tradition surrounded by so much excitement, laughter, and love.

I absolutely love getting to capture cultural wedding traditions like this. The little details always end up holding some of the biggest memories, and this was such a special one to witness.

Quick tip for your wedding day:

Have all your detail items together in a box and ready for your flat lay photos before your photographer arrives.

Think:
• Shoes
• Bouquet
• Rings
• Jewelry
• Invitations
• Perfume
• Vows or keepsakes

And don’t forget the little things that photograph beautifully:
• Ask your florist for a few extra loose blooms for styling
• If you’re having a themed wedding, incorporate little trinkets or details that tie into your theme to make your photos feel even more personal and intentional
• Bring a wooden or velvet hanger for your dress photos — ideally one that swivels and isn’t plastic for those elevated hanging shots.
