There is nothing that prepares you for the end of a season. No amount of hope or pride or respect can change the scoreboard. All at once, it just ends. (Except for the tears… sometime those stick around for days).

But the memories don’t go away. The feels don’t fade. What was built remains, even when it changes going forward.

To the entire team, thank you. THANK YOU. You showed up on the ice, in the community, for our kids, and for all of us. Day in and day out. Win or lose. And while we all wanted Tuesdays night to go the other way, we are no less proud that it didn’t.

To those moving on, we will all be cheering you on in your future endeavours, wherever they take you. And for those coming back, the countdown is already on.

Thank you for the season. 💜💜
