I started going through all my photos I’ve taken this past year but haven’t posted and these ones are my favourites. The two that raised me into the women I am today.

Last August we celebrated my grandparents 50th anniversary. Their marriage is far from perfect but the way they got through every hardship that came their way is admirable. A few things I’ve learned from these two are…

• To be loved is to be seen
• Never give up on the people you love
• Hard work pays off every single time
• Love is hard but worth the fight
• Forgiveness is key
• If you’re early you’re on time, if you’re on time you’re late (still working on that one)
• Tough love is necessary when needed (even if that means a pan to the head lol jk)
• Be picky on who you share your life with
• Mind your own damn business
• Laugh with each other and sometimes at each other
• Be honest even if it’s hard
• Addiction can be overcame
• Being there for your partner even when they’re hard to love will be tough but worth it.

Thankful I’ve had my grandparents to guide me through life and to show me how to be a great person. God only knows where I’d be right now if it weren’t for them and their love. 🥹🤍

Patiently waiting to watch this guy on TSN+ at 2:30 pm today!

He continues to make his family & home community proud by all his dedication and love for the game. No matter what happens out there just remember how proud you are making everyone who knows & loves you.

Thank you to the beardys prevention team for putting on this outing for young adults last week. The idea was to give us young adults an opportunity to chose to have some sober fun on a Friday night rather than going out to party. I’m proud of my community for doing this initiative especially with it being so last minute and I’m pretty happy with the turn out but I’m sure next time with more planning we’ll see a lot more community members out there. It was so fun! Thank you to my sister & Corey for being amazing and helping out the prevention team with this outing. We also went for supper before this & I wish I captured more photos but I was having too much fun so I forgot about my camera! 😆
