Happy birthday to this beautiful soul who started off as a client of mine and quickly became one of my closest friends. 💕
I met Aaron in 2021 when I was asked to photograph a very special surprise maternity session for her first baby. A friend of ours had reached out to me to gift her the shoot, and I was so excited to meet her and capture such a meaningful moment in her life.
Before the session, my friend shared with me that Aaron had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and had started chemotherapy while she was pregnant. Suddenly this maternity session carried an even deeper meaning.❤️
When I finally met Aaron, she was exactly what you would hope for in someone walking through such a difficult season, a bright light. So positive, so outgoing, so kind. We clicked instantly.
What I didn’t know at the time was how much Aaron would come to mean in my own life. Just 6 months later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer myself.
Aaron and I bonded quickly as young women navigating cancer together, but I truly believe our connection goes deeper than that. We are not just pink sisters, we are soul sisters.🩷
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of watching Aaron grow, get married, and welcome two beautiful baby boys into the world. I’ve been there to capture some of her happiest moments, her maternity photos, and some of her most vulnerable ones too.
Aaron is always the first person to say yes anytime I ask her to be part of a shoot or a creative project. She shows up with her whole heart every single time.
I’m so grateful that life brought us together through photography, and even more grateful that today I get to call her not just a client, but one of my closest friends.🫶🏻
