Holy moley! It’s been a year since this show 🤯.

Thankful to Vince Geiger for having me out to this one. After a full year of no photography, it kick started a tremendous Fall/Winter string of shows in 2023 including my Prairie run with the Avatar team through SK and AB.

Forever grateful for these opportunities.

Wonderful write-up from Declan Hills around Blind Commentary’s new EP ‘Eyes Open and Staring’ accompanied by my photos from the EP release show with Slow Down Molasses and Tracy Waters.

Prior to this, I had never shot a show in the basement of a bowling alley. Made me nervous if I’d have enough light to punch out anything worthwhile. But let me tell you, that s**t was wild, and I believe the ISO induced images exemplify that energy greatly. I hope you get a sense of how hyped Saskatoon was for this one and don’t shy away from the next show in the basement of a bowling alley. You won’t regret.

Back on the horse again for an evening. Another collab with NSMZ celebrating alongside Blind Commentary as they shred Fairhaven Bowl’s underbelly with the release of their new EP ‘Eyes Open and Stairing’. Supported by Saskatoon’s Slow Down Molasses and Tracy Waters.

I am tremendously grateful to be part of the wonderful NSMZ family and continue to have the opportunity to capture concert photos for amazing bands and musicians, all while working alongside a handful of Saskatchewan’s finest creative writers and photographers. Looking forward to the next one!

This venue has meant a lot to the music scene and community ever since it picked up where Lydia’s left off 8 years ago. It’s been almost 3 years this group has played and we couldn’t be more pumped to celebrate with them!
