I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the two people who jumped into this week's Something Yellow challenge. 💛

Thank you both for taking the time to get outside, snap a photo, and be part of it. It honestly means a lot.

Every challenge has to start somewhere, and I'm hoping this grows into something that gets more people out exploring Saskatoon, taking photos, and having a little fun each week.

If you've been thinking about joining but haven't yet, I'd love to see your photos next week. Whether you're using a phone or a camera, it doesn't matter. It's not about taking the "perfect" photo—it's about getting outside and seeing things a little differently.

Thanks again to this week's featured photos! I can't wait to see what next week's challenge brings. 📸💛

💛 Yellow spotted!

Mission accomplished. 💛

I couldn't resist stopping when I spotted this beauty. Sometimes the best photos happen when something catches your eye and you just have to pull over.

📸 YXE Weekly Photo Challenge Feature

This week's theme was Reflection, and I loved seeing the different ways people interpreted it.

This photo stood out because it perfectly captured the theme while showing how creative a simple reflection can be.

Thank you for getting outside, participating, and helping kick off the very first YXE Weekly Photo Challenge.
One of my goals with this challenge is to encourage people to explore Saskatoon, enjoy our short summer, get outside, and see the world a little differently—and this photo is a great example of that.

📸 YXE Weekly Photo Challenge

Let's try something new Saskatoon.
This summer, I want to encourage people to get outside, explore their neighbourhoods, enjoy our city, and maybe discover something they haven't noticed before.

I'll be posting weekly photo challenges that will be pinned at the top of this page.

The goal isn't to take the perfect photo.
The goal is to get out for a walk, a bike ride, a drive, or an adventure and share what you find along the way.

Happy National Camera Day 📸

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet incredible people, capture beautiful homes, amazing vehicles, and some unforgettable moments.
But some of my favourite photos are still the ones that don't involve a client.

These images were taken during a walk with my wife on our anniversary. No shoot planned. No agenda. Just a camera, a walk, and a memory worth keeping.

It's a reminder that photography isn't just about creating content—it's about preserving moments that matter.

As a photographer in Saskatoon, I'm grateful for every opportunity this camera has given me, both personally and professionally.
