This photo shoot is very special to me. I was going through a lull creatively during the time I shot this. I knew I needed to pull myself out of the negative thought patterns I let myself sit in. It’s difficult to not be hard on yourself as an artist. I felt as though I lost my spark and I needed to find a way to light it again. The butterfly concept was inspired by a dream I had. And I knew I wanted my dear friends to be part of my vision. And they happily said yes. I didn’t post on my feed about this shoot for some time when I actually shot it. I didn’t feel ready to post it yet but today I felt was a good time. Ps. Those are real butterflies 🦋
