A love story filled with adoration, hope for the future and the family they are going to create together.

Mike looks at Jayde as if she is his entire world. They whisper to each other, 'We got this,' a mantra that defines their love and support for one another.

They lean on each other, finding solace in the ease of their love, knowing they can get through anything together.

Their love for one another knows no bonds, expressed in both grand gestures and quiet moments. They find comfort in simply sitting together after a long day, discussing all that life offers, secure in the knowledge that they fully support each other.

It was a beautiful day celebrating this stunning couple with all their closest people. I am forever honoured and grateful for this job and the people I get to meet.✨

The day started with a heartwarming note and poetic words from Kaitlyn to Tony that moved everyone to tears, it gave me a beautiful glimpse into their relationship and I could see how far they have come as a couple.

I was introduced to these two a few years ago when they booked a mini session, I instantly fell in love with them and I had this sense that they have a forever kind of love. Truly knowing how to have fun together, they effortlessly embrace their silliness and spontaneity, which you’ll see this in slide 10 hehe

The day had a beautiful sense of ease and flow to it because it didn’t matter what we were doing, as long as they were together, they have such carefree spirits and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire day.🥹

Kelsey and Pat are best friends who have created a beautiful love together.
The day began with an emotional first look, tears turned to laughter, realizing the overwhelming love they share.

They embraced every moment with pure joy, as they were surrounded by everything they love - family, friends and the mountains.

Their heartfelt vows were a testament to the depth of their bond, and hearing Pat promise 'I’m gonna be so good to ya, just so good to ya' perfectly embodies their genuine commitment to each other (and completely melted my heart). At the end of each day, Pat turns to Kels and says ‘another best day' with his joyful grin. They find solace in each other, a love that feels like home, where they belong and support each other's passions.

The speeches spoke volumes of their profound connection and who they are as individuals and how they compliment each other perfectly. Pat truly enjoys life to the fullest, his determination, motivation and love for life is inspiring. Kelsey is an old soul and loves so deeply, she is vibrant, wholesome, and knows how to make you feel special on any given day. If you need a pick me up or shoulder to lean on she is your gal.

It was an honour and privilege to be able to capture this day, as a photographer, but also as a close friend, to have witnessed these two grow in their relationship was a beautiful thing, they treat each other with such reverence, it is a joy to know and love them.

Kayla + Brett had a vision for their wedding, to have it in a beautiful greenhouse, when this venue opened up, they just knew it had to be there. They changed their plans and their wedding date to secure this beautiful space. It was a perfect day with incredible people.

When I walked up to the venue that morning, I saw Kayla standing outside, she came walking towards me smiling with tears in her eyes, she said nothing had felt real until she saw me, we had been talking for months and finally were able to meet eachother and it truly felt surreal, I felt like I’ve always known her.

Multiple times throughout the day I would look at Kayla and she would have tears of joy welling up in her eyes, her heart is so big and so bright, she has the most wonderful soul. I am so happy her dream day came to life in such a beautiful way.

This new venue .sk is absolutely incredible and a photographers dream. So excited this place exists and so ready for more weddings here!

During their vows to one another Jordan spoke to Sarah from the heart, in the moment, and I was brought to tears was when he said “Sarah, you are my sunshine, my sunset and the love of my life.”

As they were sharing a quiet moment together, it slowly started to rain, Sarah felt the drops and lifted her head to the sky, smiling, as if her mama was sending her love from above. They fully embraced the rain and didn’t let it dim their pure elation to finally be able to celebrate their sacred union three years after they were married in the heart of 2020.

Their energy is pure light, they radiate love, as if love is as easy as breathing, they live in the moment and know they can make it through anything because they have each other and the community of hearts that support and encourage them.

The love felt in the room was palpable. Incredible blessings were given and shared. It was an honour to witness and document. There was intention in everything, from the decor, to the food prepared by the bride + groom, it was a day I will always remember as an incredible inspiration of what it means to love so deeply and put your heart into everything.

Bethany + Michael✨

Bethany is full of life, incredibly kind and has this sweetness about her that just makes you want to be her best friend. Micheal is so loving, easy going and joyful, he has the best laugh and always makes the most of any situation.

On the first night they met, they danced the night away together. So naturally, as the sun was setting behind us, the river shallow below us, they danced together as if no one was there, it was so beautiful to witness. There is a sparkle that lights the eyes of those who are in love with the one they are dancing with, the eye contact is held with such adoration and you feel safe in their arms.

When you let me into these moments that are so true to your relationship it allows me to capture a depth of your love that is unknown to the outside world. It is a beautiful gift that I can hold space for these moments to take place.

These two tie the knot this weekend and I am incredibly excited to spend the day celebrating their love and creating more beautiful memories together.

My wedding season starts this weekend and I am beyond excited for all the incredible couples I have the honour to photograph. It’s truly a gift to be able to do what I love and pour my heart into it.

As life continues, naturally new joys and heartaches arise and I enter this season reminded of how important this job is.

The depth of heartache often brings the most beautiful works of art to life. I am going to channel that feeling into this next season. The ache of what was, the longing for something you once had, the desire to go back in time and relive it all over again. Time is fleeting, moments pass and what you thought was going to last forever really only lasts a short while, it’s the truth of life and what makes it so achingly beautiful.

It is a shift in perspective to observe and pay attention to the small moments, the ones you didn’t notice until you look back at a photo and remember how special that feeling was. I always strive to live in the present moment yet I am a hopeless romantic, nostalgia is in my blood, I live and breathe to document moments you can look back on when that feeling overcomes you.

There is magic to be created this year, stories waiting to be told, images to be brought to life. It’s going to be incredible, I can feel it.

Simon + Lindy

Last month Simon messaged me asking if I could give him a call later that day. I was giddy. I had a feeling he had something in the works to propose to Lindy but I didn’t know how quickly it was all going to unfold.

He told me the plan and then asked if I was available the next day. Thankfully we were able to make it work and he chose the perfect spot overlooking the river and found a bush for me to hide behind so she wouldn’t see me. He even went to shovel out the spot where I would be hiding, he is the kindest human.

I arrived first, scoped out the spot and then hid in my car until they arrived, Lindy thought they were just going for a quick photo shoot with their friend in her new jacket she got for Christmas, as something fun to do because it had been a tough week.

My heart was racing, they parked and started walking out to the spot Simon had chosen, it was in their neighbourhood and familiar to them, she still had no idea. I quietly snuck out of my car, jumped behind the bush and impatiently waited for the big moment. It was honestly so difficult for me to see what was happening I was so scared I would miss it, the bush wasn’t quite perfectly lined up so I knew I’d have to run out into the snow to make sure I had the best angle. Luckily Simon took his time and I could tell moment before it happened, he was holding her hands and saying sweet things to her, I rushed out and sure enough he was down on one knee the next moment.

Lindy was over the moon and so surprised, she thought they were going ring shopping again that weekend, so she wasn’t expecting it at all. She was glowing. It all worked out so beautifully and I am so grateful to have witnessed such a special moment and see the love they have for each other, and it all happened under the light of the full moon.❤️

Lauren + Morgan

They brought our creative vision to life. Delaney and I sent out a couple call for a creative shoot and when Lauren messaged me I knew her and Morgan would be perfect for this concept.

We set up multiple dates yet each one kept falling through, until we finally landed on February 13th, which happened to be the day before their 3 year anniversary. Their connection took my breath away, they are completely in aweh of one another and blissfully in love, that can’t keep your hands off each other kind of connection.

They have a beautiful confidence in the relationship they have built together, connected spirit to spirit, soul to soul, they truly see each other. Near the end of the session as they embraced, Morgan had a few tears in his eyes because of the gratitude he feels for being in relationship with Lauren and for the magnitude of their love. I could feel it shining through them, in their eyes, their laughter and presence. It is inspiring to me when I witness two people so in love, it reminds me to appreciate the love I have in my life and cherish what already is and what is to come.

I am so grateful to these two for giving their hearts to this session and fully committing to our vision. Lauren is an incredible massage therapist, reiki practitioner and yogi. She is hosting a yoga & breath work retreat in March and I highly recommend checking it out!✨

Kayla + Mark

Everything happened a bit backwards yet completely perfect. It’s the cutest thing ever, they picked their date, booked their venue and myself before they were even engaged.

I met Kayla at a wedding this past summer and we instantly connected, I ended up staying late because I just wanted to hang out with the girls even though I had to drive home 2 hours that night. When Kayla reached out to me that her and Mark were getting married in September, I was over the moon.

We set a date for their engagement session, and I still had no idea they weren’t engaged yet, it turns out Mark didn’t propose until weeks before our session. We met at a coffee shop where Kayla told me the entire story and how he proposed. I had chills when she told me, it was so incredibly romantic, so it felt natural to choose the location where he proposed. It was completely empty, not a soul in sight which made it that much more intimate and they were able to really savour the moment together.

Beyond excited for their mountain wedding in September.🫶🏻

“Is your heart beating as fast as mine?”
Moments after their first look Del rested his hand on Tierra’s heart and asked this question. It was the purest moment of love and why first looks can be so special.

Tierra and Del grew up in the same small town and have known each other their whole lives. It started out as a fling, until they both realized they didn’t want to live life without the other.

Almost 10 years to the day, they said I do in the most stunning courthouse surrounded by their closest people before heading to the town hall to celebrate with everyone.

These two have loved each other for over 14 years, they are so naturally in love and the best of friends.

A love built on a solid foundation, loving each other through every phase of life, learning and continuing to love the person at every stage is a gift, choosing eachother through every change life throws their way. To know this is the one person you can always count on. To know the life you are building is valued and cherished by the two of you because only you know what it truly means.

Their laughter was contagious and their outlook so inspiring, they just want to experiencing all that life has to offer and to be able to do it together is the best part.✨
