A little personal post today 🤍

After 9 years, I officially graduated high school 🎓

Life didn't go the way I expected it would, and I definitely didn't finish on the timeline I thought I would.

I actually tried again back in 2020 during COVID, but between work and everything else going on at the time, I ended up stopping.

For a while, I wasn't sure I'd ever come back to it.

But I did.
And I finished.
And honestly, that's what matters.

I'm proud of myself for coming back and getting it done, even when it would have been waaaaay easier to give up.

To anyone who feels behind in life: your timeline doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

Here's to finishing things, starting new chapters, and proving to yourself that it's never too late 🥹

And to my sweet little boy... thank you for being my biggest motivation every single day 🤍

One thing I don’t think I talk about enough is that I’m building this little business while raising my little boy, Brody 🤍

Sometimes that means he comes along for the adventure.

As moms, we spend so much time trying to balance family, work, dreams, and responsibilities.

This little business is one of mine 🥹

Thankfully, he’s a pretty easygoing little sidekick and loves watching the world go by from his stroller.

I’m grateful every day that I get to build something I love while watching him grow 🤍🤍🤍

SEPTEMBER DUE DATES ♡

September is my birthday month and this year I’d love to celebrate by documenting a few brand-new little lives entering the world 🥹

As a mom myself, I know how quickly those first hours and days pass. The tiny fingers, wrinkly toes, hospital bracelets, and first cuddles — they’re moments you will never get back.

I’m looking for 2–3 expecting families with September due dates in Saskatoon for a Fresh 48 portfolio project.

Fresh 48 sessions take place in the hospital only, within 24–48 hours after birth, and focus on preserving those beautiful first memories exactly as they happen ♡

If hospital access is not possible, this project will not apply.

✨ Portfolio Project Rate: $100

Includes:
• Up to 45 minutes
• 15 edited images
• Online gallery delivery

➤ Important:

Selected families must be comfortable with public sharing (portfolio, social media, marketing).
A signed model release is required.

Families will be chosen intentionally to reflect a variety of families and stories.

Regular Fresh 48 sessions are always available at $175 for full privacy and a full gallery.

If a baby arrives on my birthday, that family will receive a complimentary Petite Session within baby’s first year 🤍

Honestly, social media can be so hit or miss.

The response to my recent family model call was incredible 🥹

As I continue building a portfolio that reflects the beautiful diversity of families in our community, I’d love to create space for a few more family stories…

I’m hoping to select a few families with young children whose story may not always be represented in mainstream photography — whether that's through culture, family structure, disability, neurodiversity, adoption, fostering, or another unique journey.

More than anything, I'm looking for genuine connection 🥹

✨ $100 Model Call Rate

Includes:
• 30 minute outdoor session
• 15–20 edited images
• Online gallery

Please note:
• Sessions will take place in July.
• Selected families will be contacted by mid-June.
• Families must be comfortable with images from the session being shared on my website, portfolio, and social media.
