This shoot was so much fun! We were at the very end of the evening, and instead of calling it, I decided to bring my drone out on a whim with no real plan. After a bit of exploring from above, I spotted a heart shaped rock and guided R&K into place (what can only be described as an aerial game of hot and cold).

Thank you R&K for trusting me on my aerial side quest! I can’t wait to celebrate with you at this summer 💛

As per usual, I’m fashionably late to the New Year, but I’m here nonetheless! (January doesn’t count. I don’t make the rules, okay?)

If I’m being honest, I really just needed (and honestly, still need) a social media break. There’s a lot of noise in the world right now, and it all feels especially loud.

So I’ve been hibernating and sitting with everything this past year was. I’m incredibly grateful to have a job centred around love, celebration, and memory making. It keeps me grounded in the beauty that still exists, and reminds me that when you turn the volume down and zoom in, most humans are good and love is still very much here.

For now, I’m easing back in by sharing some snaps from C&M’s beautiful wedding in Kamloops last summer. Exactly the kind of day that reminded me why I love my job so much 🤍

I’m so excited for everything 2026 has in store! Thank you all for being here and for being so awesome 🥰

Some visual serotonin for your morning ☀️

Sipping my coffee in front of my sun lamp this morning, pretending I’m here — in a warm field of flowers with a soft spring breeze on my face (🤫 allergies don’t exist here). The sun doesn’t set until 7pm and I can actually feel the warmth from it as it melts into my skin.

Even though this time of year on Vancouver Island is dark and cold, I love the way we bring our own light into our homes — filling them with warmth, comfort, and our favourite people.

Spring will come, but until then… this works too.
