I have been quiet on social media, and slow in my inboxes. Perhaps you’ve noticed…

But I’ve been living.
Really relishing in these fleeting moments with my boys. I don’t mean just cuddling on the couch and reading books in bed.

I’m talking about…studying the details of my children, like the freckles beginning to decorate my oldest son’s nose at the age of 4. Or, noticing how heavy he’s become as I carry him back to his bed at nighttime. I walk a little slower with him in my arms, kiss his cheeks, and vow to start working out so I can make these opportunities last a little longer.

Like, making brownies together and instead of rushing to clean up, we sit on the kitchen island, talking and licking the spoons covered in chocolate batter.
Hiding in dark bathrooms to play with glow-in-the-dark toys, and whispering secrets in each others ears throughout the day.

Enrolling in mom & tot Forest school classes, being there for school pickup & drop off, joining nature groups to meet new friends, visiting family in the city, writing lunch box love notes, walking to the library to borrow another 2 dozen books for the week.

I’ve been busy.
And, it’s been wonderful.
Even with the hiccups and challenges our family encounters on a daily basis.

This week, we sent our first baby to Jr. Kindergarten and it’s been quite the whirlwind of emotions for my heart. 🥹

Sending love and best wishes to those of you going through a change of pace these days 🤍

Whether it’s returning to work after a maternity leave, moving to a new city, sending your children off to school or pursuing a new personal endeavor.

Changes can be tough. But they can also be so exciting and feel like a fresh start.

Sending all the virtual hugs your way. 🥰

✨Announcement✨

I am fully booked for Summer 2022 and will not be booking any *new* session inquiries.

It’s the last summer before my oldest son starts JK, so I’m making the conscious choice to slow down. I want to make this a magical summer with my boys, and document all the wonderful family memories 🤍 (can’t remember the last time I picked up the camera for personal reasons).

If we’ve already been chatting about working together this summer, don’t worry! I will extend the opportunity to schedule a newborn/family session until June 15th. After which, all incomplete “session proposals” (ie. Contract/deposit) will expire.

In the chaos of those early newborn days are beautiful lessons and reminders.
