After the week our community has had, a gentle reminder before you type the comment on fb, before you chat with someone about something you’ve heard, before you judge someone in the community….just remember how no one is immune to any of it ❤️

It’s better to keep it humble and keep your mouth closed.

Because the truth is, it could happen to you.

Whatever it is.

It could happen to you.

You could mess up.

Your child could mess up.

Your spouse could mess up.

And none of us know how we’ll respond until we’re actually in that situation ourselves. We just don’t. We don’t know how we’ll feel. We don’t know how we’ll respond. Looking at a storm from the outside is always different than standing in the middle as the rains and the winds beat down on you.

You could be the talk of the town.

You could be the one who’s getting judged.

You could be the one to disappoint.

Addiction.

Divorce.

Bankruptcy.

Scandal.

Mental health problems.

None of us are so good, so mighty, so perfect that we’re immune.

So it’s better to keep it humble.

Keep your mouth closed.

And just pray for them with the same amount of grace you would want to be given to you.

Because the truth is, it could happen to you.

Tonight the SRHS and Lockeport Jr Girls team came together to play, but also took some time to honor their friend and schoolmate-Drew Nickerson. 💙
The girls had their own armbands, hearts on their jerseys and blue ribbon in their hair to show their love for Drew.
