Ojibwe, also known as Ojibwa, Chippewa, or Anishinaabemowin, is a large Indigenous group in North America, primarily residing in the Great Lakes region. The Ojibwe have a rich culture; their teachings guide traditional spiritual beliefs and practices including the use of sweat lodges, ceremonies, and the Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers, which focus on ethical conduct. Their (Algonquian) language is unique, though language revitalization efforts are ongoing.

It has been very fulfilling to finally have the time to be able to volunteer for local organizations. I also make a point of supporting local businesses, participating in community events, and donating to charities that serve the area's needs.
