Shelley Lewis Photography A collection of images by photographer Shelley Lewis of the magical Salish Sea and surrounding …… Yes it is PARADISE here! I am truly blessed and I know it!

After living in the Yukon for 30 years I now find myself living waterfront on Vancouver Island British Columbia! These surrounding really do bring out ones artistic side and retirement allows me the freedom to carry it out. I am retired and now find myself with the 'dream job' I own and operate the Salish Sea Beach House. I encourage photographers to visit as the sunrises and variety of birds are

SPECTACULAR! I love to photograph things that 'catch my eye' and it is truly just that. I am overwhelmed at times by the beauty of this planet and am thankful everyday for how spectacular she is! I have also traveled a fare bit and love to meet people from other cultures. It's the BEST part of the experience for me. I am happy to share the beauty of where I live and what I have seen in my travels with you and hope you enjoy this adventure called life as much as I do! Ciao

As the Festivus lights twinkle I find myself reflecting on the beautiful tapestry of love and connections that make this time of year so special.

This year has been a journey filled with shared laughter, tears, cherished memories, and the comfort of knowing that, near or far, we are bound together by the ties of love and friendship.
The Salish Sea Beach House has been witness to many wonderful moments over the years and with each wave that rolls ashore they seem to echo the gratitude I feel for having each and every one of you in my life.

In the spirit of the season, may your homes be filled with the warmth of love, the light of joy, and the melody of music and laughter. May the bonds that connect us continue to strengthen, bridging the gaps of distance and time. Whether you find yourself nestled by the fireplace or under a palm tree, know that you are in my thoughts and heart.
May the magic of the season bring you peace, the sweetness of love, and the serenity of nature's beauty.

From the rocky shores of the Salish Sea Beach House to your homes around the world, I send you my warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
May the coming days be filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys that make life truly special.
With love and gratitude,
Shelley

I have been working on Humpty for the last week and a half. It’s so cathartic making soft sculpture and it’s fun to photograph.
