Phillip Hughes Photography I am a part time photographer that likes to capture the essence of that moment. Enjoy!

I believe things and places speak to people in different ways and I hope that my photographs speak to you as they did to me when I took them.

Hard to believe it has been 6 long years to the day that I visited this historic monument in Donore, County Meath, Ireland.

Newgrange is a 5,200 year old passage tomb located in the Boyne Valley in Ireland's Ancient East. The mound is 85m (279ft) in diameter and 13m (43ft) high, an area of about 1 acre.

Being constructed about 5,200 years ago (3,200 B.C.) makes it older than Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids of Giza.
