Just a reminder to any and all who would like a shot of their vehicle with your parachute open, at the top end, that I will be down at the top end on Saturday for the FIRST 2 QUALIFYING RUNS and shooting the car in the TOWER SIDE lane. If you’d like a shot like this, let me know below by replying YES and I’ll do my absolute best to get that for you. I will only be shooting the tower side lane for this so if you’re not in that lane on the first run, make sure you’re in it for the second run.

Through My Old Eyes is doing another fundraiser this season for the Ronald McDonald House. Tickets will be available and sold at each race at the CHU tent and also available from Doug directly. The cost will remain $20 per ticket, no limit on the number people can buy. The fundraiser runs all season and the winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the final race and the winner will receive their choice of any shot I took of your race vehicle over the 2026 season…OR a specially made hero shot. If you’d like to see more examples of the hero style images, I have an entire album posted of images I did earlier this year posted on my page.

I have had a 12x18” size print done on the sublimated metal plate as a display that will be available to see at the upcoming CHU weekend so you can see what you’ll be able to win. I’m reducing the size of the winning print to 12x18” this year to allow more of the proceeds to go to the charity. The end result is a high gloss finish with a lot of depth in the image.

I really want to thank all who participated last year. Ronald McDonald House is an amazing charity that helps so many families with lodging during health crisis. I hope you all decide to participate again this year and help achieve my goal of a $1000 donation (raised between CHU & RCSS).
