The doors to Local Ads Studio have opened for the first time in over a year! 🌿

For the past 12 months, I’ve been supporting a small group of people to confidently run their own Meta Ads. Now I’m opening the doors again.

Local Ads Studio is for businesses who rely on customers in their local area. Whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur or marketing manager, this membership is designed to help you feel more confident running Meta Ads without having to figure everything out on your own.

This beta round is a little different. Alongside the live membership, I’m actively recording and releasing a step-by-step course. As a beta tester, you’ll receive complimentary access to the course while you’re a member, and in return I’m asking for your honest feedback before the full launch later this year.

If you’ve been wanting someone to show you what to do, what to avoid, and be there when you get stuck, I’d love to have you inside.

And one last favour… if you know a local business owner who’s always saying, “I really need to learn Meta Ads,” I’d be incredibly grateful if you’d send this post their way.

Thank you for supporting this little corner of the internet and everything I’m building.
🤍 Amy

Quite often, while speaking with the owner of a tourism-based business, I hear some variation of these conversations.

They're different businesses, with different offers and at different stages of growth, but their challenges are quite often similar.

Running a business means wearing a lot of hats: looking after guests, managing staff, keeping operations running, and somehow finding time for marketing as well.

If one of these slides sounded familiar, you're not alone.
And if you're looking for a marketing partner who understands the landscape of running a tourism business, we're right here.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a hundred times more (and even louder for the 🐓 in the back).

If you’re an experience-led business, don’t make people work to find you. If you want them through your doors, make it ridiculously easy.

I had to say something. I couldn’t stand it anymore.

I have more that I could say. About my own practices, the usefulness of AI, but for now I’m leaving it here and open.

I am genuinely interested to hear others thoughts on this topic. Please leave me a comment and let’s start the convo!

A while ago, I took one of my old Instagram reels and put less than $200 behind it as a Meta ad.

That one reel brought in a new client worth $3,600 over three months.

The reel wasn’t new, but the audience who was seeing it was.

This is one of the reasons I don’t believe every business needs to keep creating more and more content.
Don’t get me wrong, posting every week—strategically—is important. But I am not going to tell anyone that just to make sales, they need to post 5 times every single day.

Sometimes your next customer doesn’t need a new post from you, there is one you’ve already created that they need to see (and we know the algorithm isn’t going to resurface a post from 6 months ago on its own).

This is exactly why I created the Visibility Package.

It’s designed for businesses that are already creating quality organic content but want more of the right people to see it, without jumping straight into a full Meta Ads strategy.

This isn’t about pressing the boost button and hoping for the best. It’s about choosing the right piece of content based on your business goals, putting strategy behind it, and getting it in front of the people it was created for.

If you’d like to know whether it’s the right fit for your business, comment VISIBILITY and I’ll send you the details.

Organic marketing got you here.
Is it also going to get you where you want to go?

Organic marketing is powerful. I will always believe that.
It builds trust, community, recognition, and a belonging that makes people care about your brand before they ever buy from you.

But there comes a point where growth can begin to plateau from organic marketing alone.

People know the brand, their offer is working, their audience is engaged, sales are happening… But growth starts to feel slower than where they want to go next.

That does not always mean something is wrong. Sometimes it means organic has done exactly what it was meant to do, and now it is time to introduce more of the right people to what is already working.

This is where ads can make sense.
Not as a replacement for organic or a shortcut or a magic fix.
It’s like fuel on a fire that is already burning.

Organic builds the connection. Paid helps carry that connection further.

Flower farming made me fall in love with marketing.
I absolutely loved growing flowers. I loved wandering through the rows, harvesting buckets of blooms, and creating bouquets.

What I didn’t love was hearing people at a farmers market scoff at paying $6 for a bouquet I’d spent months growing. Or packing those bouquets back into the car because they hadn’t sold.

It got me to thinking that there had to be a better way than crying in the bushes at the market and pulling myself together again.

I didn’t want to put it to chance that people standing in front of my table would think that my flowers were worth buying. I wanted to figure out how I could get people to come to the farm AND know they had already paid for the bouquet before they even pulled into the driveway.

I started getting creative and diving into what platforms worked. I put more effort into figuring out our ideal customer. I was sharing our story with beautiful photos, but also our real life. The wins. The failures. The surprise baby chicks. We built a community around the flower farm, and before long, people weren’t discovering us at the market anymore.

They were driving to us.

That’s when I fell in love with marketing. Not because I loved selling. Because I loved creating something people genuinely wanted to be part of (and the whole problem solving part too).

And that hasn’t changed.
