Artist’s Life

I love the freedom of acrylics inks along with markings using pen, pastel and markers. Getting lost in impasto style with flowing petals of imaginary flowers along with modern contemporary non-figurative abstracts. There aren't any colours that I don't love to create with and I especially love the challenge of commission pieces. A background in Design allows me to work with the collectors in creating something they will love for years. I let my imagination flow much like the paint on canvas or paper and I put a bit of my heart in every piece I create. My works are intuitive and created from my imagination. I work from my home studio space and gallery in Southampton, and I am inspired every day by the natural settings and lake that I am fortunate to live near.

Welcome 2020!!!!!! With a brand new year and decade to get creative. I can hardly wait as there are so many new things happening and some ideas to place on a surface. Let’s keep Fall a while longer as the snow covers everything.Fall, where have you gone my dear? Tuscan golds and onyx black with warm colours all together in these first paintings of 2020.
