Here are a few images of The Cribbies in Tors Cove. This little white and red house in Tors Cove is so pretty there along the coast and is a very popular subject with photographers.

I've asked this question once before but didn't get a definitive answer. So, I am wondering again, why is it called the Cribbies and is the name of "Cribbies" just referring to this house or that particular part of Tors Cove?

Anyone out there on the Southern Shore have any insight? I actually asked someone who lived there a few years ago and he had some theories but it seems perhaps its been lost over the years. I would love to know more about the history.
