My name is Matt, and I’m the owner and lead photographer behind Harbour Loft Media.

Before photography became my full-time focus, I spent over a decade building a career in tech. Before that, I drove an ambulance for a patient transfer company. Two very different roles, but both grounded in the same thing: helping people, staying adaptable, and learning how to meet people where they’re at.

That’s a big part of how I approach photography now.

I’ve always been less interested in just taking photos and more interested in creating something that captures who you are. Whether I’m photographing a person, a business, or a space, my approach is always the same… comfortable, collaborative, and making sure what we create feels honest to the story you’re trying to tell.

A big part of my job is helping people feel at ease in front of the camera. Not everyone shows up knowing how to pose or what to do, and that’s okay.

My goal is to make the process feel natural, approachable, and tailored to you so the final result feels intentional, personal, and true to who you are.
