A little something special is coming back for Thanksgiving.

Last year, I introduced something very close to my heart: Pay What You Can Minis.

And I’m bringing them back this Thanksgiving Monday, October 12.

These sessions were created with one simple hope: that the cost of photography never has to be the reason a family misses out on having their memories captured.

There is a $25 booking fee, and on the day of your session, you’ll bring a sealed envelope with your family’s name on it with whatever additional payment feels right for you.

If $25 is truly all you can give, that is completely okay.

But your envelope is about more than the payment.

I’m asking each family to tuck a little note inside sharing something you’re grateful for, a piece of your story, or something you’d like me to know.

Last year, I received more than I could have ever expected in those little envelopes. Stories of love, loss, strength, gratitude, and everything in between.

They reminded me just how much we’re all carrying, how important our people are, and why I love being the person who gets to preserve these little pieces of your lives.

And because these spots are intentionally limited, I want to be really clear about who these sessions are for.

These minis are created for families who normally cannot afford to have professional photos taken.

If you’re someone who is able to regularly book photography sessions, I kindly ask that you leave these spots for families who otherwise may not have the opportunity.

As much as I would love to see all of my familiar faces, this is the heart behind why I offer these.

You may remember my Pay What You Can Minis from last year, and I’m so excited to bring them back for Thanksgiving Monday, October 12! 🤎

If you’re on my email list, you got a little first look at these last night, and now the waitlist is officially OPEN!

These sessions are something really close to my heart. I never want the cost of photography to be the reason a family misses out on having beautiful memories captured.

September 8th is one of my favourite days because of you. But seriously, how are you 10 today?! Where does the time go 🥹

To the one who made me a mom, you are one of the greatest joys of my life. Watching you grow into the boy you are today is something I’ll never stop being grateful for.

I love our birthday traditions. Every year we go out for a birthday lunch and this year the first day of school landed on your birthday! So how special is that! First day of school and a little school day break for a lunch adventure, amazing!

Our newest tradition is a mommy & me getaway. Siblings stay home with dad and we head to our favourite Airbnb to spend the day by the pool soaking up the last rays of summer before fall hits. Because before you know it, it’ll look like it does in these photos. 🍂

All this to say, I love you more than you’ll ever know. Happy 10th birthday, Liam🤎

On my way to a wedding today, so I thought it was only fitting to share a few beautiful moments from A + J’s day 🤎

The First Year Collection was created for the families who want to remember more than just one little moment.

Because your baby’s first year goes by so quickly. One minute you’re waiting to meet them, then you’re soaking in those sleepy newborn days, and then in the blink of an eye you’re already planning their first birthday.

I wanted to create a way to document that whole journey from motherhood, to newborn, to baby’s first year. Three full sessions, one beautiful chapter of your family’s story.

The First Year Collection includes:
-Motherhood Session
-Newborn Session
-First Year Session

Each session includes your full gallery, family portraits, and access to my client closet. Sessions can be held in studio, outdoors, or on location.

$875 + tax
Regularly $1,250, save $375

I couldn’t wait to share a little peek from this sweet gallery while I keep working away behind the scenes. 🥹

Swipe to see the sweetest little full-circle moment, from tiny hands waiting for baby brother during their maternity session to those same little hands finally holding him. 🤍

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love documenting your family’s story, not just one season of it. Which is exactly why I’ve been working on something new for you all!

I’m so excited to be creating a First Year Collection that brings all of these milestones together, from maternity & newborn, all the way to baby’s first birthday. Will share more with you soon, plus a special launch offer!

On another note, life has been wonderfully full lately. We just moved into our farmhouse this month (yay! Finally!!), though wow… I forgot just how much work moving is. We’ve also been walking through the loss of a beloved grandpa, and I’m so thankful we were able to spend time with him and our family before he passed. 🤍

Between all of that, and the busyness of summer sessions and weddings, my stories have been getting most of the love because they’re quick little check ins

Such a wonderful weekend. 🤍

Picnic Minis, a beautiful wedding, and two sweet newborn sessions! One of them was in-home and the other at the studio.

It felt especially fitting to share these images from this family’s maternity session today. One of my favourite parts of this job is when families invite me back again and again. From documenting the anticipation of pregnancy to meeting their newest little love, it’s such a privilege to witness these seasons and watch families grow. Those full-circle moments never get old.
