It's that time of year to share my favorite baby bunnies of the past 💕

I was sad to miss doing "Bunny Babies" minis this year because of my broken foot, since seeing these little cuties in their bonnet and bunny tails always brings me such joy!!

I'm grateful that my foot is all better now and I'm back to enjoying having sweet little visitors in my studio. 🥰

My favorite thing about the "sitter stage" (6-9 months old) is being able to capture a baby's burgeoning personality.

Once they've mastered the basics of rolling over, sitting, and grasping toys in their hands, their personality starts to show in a BIG way, and it's a joy to see!

It's a blessing to be able to capture these moments. Parents doting on their new babies, soaking in all those sweet baby snuggles, and looking at them with so much love in their eyes. The kind of photos you'll look back on year after year, and think "where did the time go?"

As I sit here with my broken foot, unable to take new photos for a little while - this is the perfect time to share some of the gorgeous galleries I haven't posted yet, and go back and look through my favorites from years past.

Baby Frankie - 50, 000 weeks new, and born with a full set of teeth! (ouch! His poor Mama)

He was wide awake during his photos, showing off those big glowing red eyes.

Even though he wasn't sleepy, his parents are grateful that we captured him showing off his unique little baby fangs and signature snarl. 🖤

The first weeks with your newborn are fleeting, but they hold so much love and wonder.

I can remember when I brought each of my babies home from the hospital, how long I stared at their peaceful little faces and tiny fingers. I loved listening to each little squeak, sigh, and hiccup (well... maybe not quite as much at 2 a.m. when I was desperate for sleep 😅).

The simplest moments often become the most treasured memories.

If you're expecting in 2026, now is a great time to plan ahead and book your newborn photography session. Reaching out early while you're still waiting for your little one's arrival means one less thing to worry about later.
It also ensures I'll have space in my calendar to capture those fleeting, special early days for you.

Hi, I'm Jackie the big social media slacker 😂... I keep telling myself I'll get back into it soon, but "soon" keeps getting farther and farther away.

Thankfully, some adorable faces deserve to be seen and this was just the boost of motivation I needed.

The absolute sass, the squint and puckered lips, and the cake on the floor...😂

This expression instantly won itself a spot in my "all-time favorites" list - a mental list I can easily recall at a moment's notice.

For me, this is what baby photography is all about.

Of course, happy, smiling, perfectly posed photos will always be cherished and sought-after from parents. (especially because they're so hard to capture once babies start moving)

But expressions like this one? They show off your baby's personality in the best way. They capture the essence of what makes them unique, and photos like this are the ones you'll be dying to share over and over again, because they make you laugh each time.

Is this photo complete and total perfection, or what?!

This little one was all smiles as she practiced standing with the buggy, and I couldn't help but smile back behind the camera!

There are moments when something happens or a face is made for a split second, and as soon as I press that camera button, I know I've captured something special.

Then, going through the photos on my computer afterward makes me feel as giddy as a kid in a candy store. I feel proud that I've captured a beautiful photo that I know a family is going to love and cherish for years to come.
