Valeska and Peppers retirement sunrise session ☀️

This morning was an emotional one, filled with love and tears. Pepper was bred and raised by Valeska and someone gifted her a photoshoot to celebrate Peppers retirement.

We didn’t have to much time before Pepper had to move barns to a new open grass field to live out his days so we opted for an early morning shoot and wow were we ever so lucky to get this beautiful frost with a perfect sunrise as our backdrop.

We celebrate their partnership with Valeska telling me everything the two of them have accomplished. To end the session Pepper and Valeska had their last canter through the frosty field this morning and now he can go and retire after all the years of hard work and love he’s given to his family.

I’m so grateful for this job and being able to capture these stories because these horses give so much to us.
