I will be showing a first edition print of how I see Stratford on the daily
Stratford has made foundational impressions in agriculture, throughout Canada’s railway system, and in the imaginations of global audiences who return year after year, for world class arts & culture.
Some say it’s the people who live here that define Stratford… Perhaps it’s the landscape that paints your memories, or the historic architecture that draws you in.
Our Stōr(y) has collaborated with investStratford, our city’s economic development corporation, to ask local residents, as well as visitors to Stratford, to use their chosen medium and share with others — Some gave us their words, others posted images on social media, and these impressions have been gathered alongside work from a variety of local and visiting Artists.
We invite you to witness their many creative interpretations, from Instagram posts to sketches, poetry to paintings — a creative presentation of data with a few surprises in store, Saturday December 6th, at Our Stōr(y), 7 George Street West, 5pm - 8:30pm
This inspiring presentation will also include live poetry presentations from Indigenous poet Scott Tillson, award winning Poet/Photographer Heidi Sander, and an exclusive first reading from Stratford’s Poet Laureate David Stones.
Most work on display will be available for sale, so you can also gift a unique piece of Stratford this holiday season while supporting our creative community
