When it’s pouring rain and we have to get bride & groom photos ☔️

I look for overhead cover that’s open on the sides.
It keeps us dry and blocks top-down overcast light (goodbye raccoon eyes).

With the light coming in horizontally, it wraps into their faces — soft, flattering, and timeless.

Thick, mature trees can do the same in lighter rain.
Rain doesn’t ruin photos. It just asks you to see light differently.
