15 years ago today... NHL hockey returned to the city of Winnipeg and the province of Manitoba after True North Sports and Entertainment purchased the Atlanta Thrashers and relocated the team to Winnipeg to become the reborn Winnipeg Jets. The team would play at the MTS Centre (now Canada Life Centre)
