Not gonna lie, I didn’t love my kid’s first picture day photo.

What even WAS that awkward smile she was doing!?

I’ve been kind of hibernating since having my new baby this year but I grabbed my camera and took matters into my own hands.

Not only am I obsessed with how this portrait turned out, I got a few good ones of her actual genuine smile and some playful ones with her sister.

245 DAYS OF CHANGE

🤯

It took 7+ months of growing a new tiny human before realizing my daughters were also growing and changing and that I had not been appropriately documenting all their beautiful developments.

They will both be big sisters by next month and I'm not sure my brain has truly processed how "big" they are getting.

To be honest, I have been focusing on my self care as this has been the hardest pregnancy so far, but maybe also the most beautiful.

Throughout this journey of change, I have a new appreciation of my changing body.

It's easy for me to gush and love on other mama's bodies, but when it comes to my own, I am very much my own worst critic.

But this time something magical happened.

As my B belly continues to grow, the more in love I am with it. I'm in awe. It has already given me 2 wonderful humans and continues to grow my 3rd. How wonderful the female body can be.

35 weeks of glorious change.

I'm debating trying out a pregnancy self portrait - something I have never attempted.
