My main focus is on the wild horses of Alberta with the hope of drawing more attention to these beautiful and often misunderstood animals. I am not actively selling my photos but if you see something that you really want I will try to make it happen.

Panther!!!!!

Finally a happy update!! I saw him a few days ago and I immediately thought that it was Cutter. When I got home and was able to zoom in I saw that he had both eyes....Cutter has one missing. Today I thought...I don't suppose it could be Panther ....and it was! And he has a mare and a yearling with him :-)

Now that he has lost his winter coat you can see that his neck will be permanently deformed....he will be easily recognized! It doesn't bother him and he behaves like all of the other horses.

Addison is no longer with the band....she appears to be with Ayashe and Ernie now. It is quite common for dads to pass their daughters on to other stallions when they reach 2 years old and are ready to be bred. Inbreeding is quite rare contrary to popular opinion.
