This session was so special to me — not just because of the milestone we were celebrating, but because I’ve known this beautiful family for a few years now. Watching their children grow, and capturing these moments along the way, is truly one of the greatest joys of my work.

Their youngest just turned one, and we celebrated with a playful, joy-filled cake smash surrounded by all siblings! 😍 There was so much laughter, cuddling, silly faces, and of course — cake everywhere. It was pure family magic.

What made it even more memorable? The stunning balloon garland, lovingly created by the amazing mama herself — !

She is not only a wonderful mom, but also a seriously talented balloon stylist. If you’re planning a birthday party, baby shower, or special event, I highly recommend reaching out to her. Her eye for colour and detail is incredible, and she brings so much heart into everything she creates.

Five.

A whole hand.

Half a decade of loving you, learning with you, and watching you grow into this bright, brave, funny, tender little soul. ✨

This session was extra special, not just because it was golden hour (my favourite time to shoot), but because it was for my little girl.

As a photographer, I’m always chasing the moments that matter — the ones that feel like who you are, right now.
But as a mama, I’m chasing time… and trying to freeze it, just for a second.

This age is so in between. No longer a toddler, not quite a big kid.
Still needing cuddles, but full of independence. Still asking for help, but wanting to try on her own first.
Still my baby… just bigger.
