Were you there?

Paterson Park?

Ladner, B.C.?

Sept 13th-15th?

We were....

If you missed it, you also missed over the 2 days and 3 nights over 25 hours of sun, fun, a bit of rain,

and the live music from 36,

yes 36 bands...

WHAT A SHOW!

In keeping with my music theme.... A really big thank you to Steve Miller, yes that's his name, Acres out in . Also know as the Chilliwack Corn Maze.

I was hired to do some work out on the farm and was fortunate enough to be able to capture some great imagery while I was there.

Greendale Acres has been creating really great for 25 years now.

This year they kicked up some dust and turned their cornfield into a party with country singing sensation in partnership with @93.7JRCountry.

The layout of the 10-acre field bears the name and likeness of the five-time and strumming a guitar next to a pair of cowboy boots.

If you've never been to the farm before, you should really plan a visit with the kids or grandkids, you wont be disappointed.

There's lots to see and do for everyone of all ages.

Some days are just a little more fun than others. Spending the day with my good friend Murray Pratt, and his crew from Pedego eBikes Tsawwassen last Friday was one of those days.

Working with Murray to capture new for his was an absolute joy. Blue sky days don't come every day, and when they do, you have to make the most of them.

On this day we most certainly did...

7 batteries later and we were done for the day, I hope you enjoy this very small sampling...

P.S. If you need some great drone footage for your next marketing promotion or social media post, please think of us here at

Nice day to shoot a of the progress of the new . Great to see the steady progress by .

Hopefully by the end of the year we'll no longer have to risk our lives driving over the old bridge.

Am I the only one who feels like the old bridge is going to fall down right when I am driving over it... lol...

Has anyone been out to the Oliver Pump station out at Boundary Bay in the past, or lately?

This is the station at the foot of 112th St.

Our company, HiPics Drone Services https://hipics.ca/wp/ was asked to go out and capture some shots of the outflow with one of our drones.

In the past, when riding my bike on the d**e I have seen the foam in front of the grates before, but its quite something else to see it now from the air...

Well the day has arrived when the pile of contaminated railbed material that has been stored under tarps since the train collision is getting removed.

Work began yesterday morning, and by the end of the day they had the entire pile gone, and the area that was directly under the pile was also excavated and trucked away.

Still looks like there's lots to do, but the pile is gone, great start!

Here is the 5 minute video that was recorded flying beside the train collision site on Jan 26, 2024. The drone is flying east to west directly over the pathway that is located beside the railbed. Its a little slow moving but does provide a considerable amount of detail.

Look closely at all of the water that is in the ditches, on the pathway below the drone, and in the grass areas between the high pressure sewer line and highway 91a.

There appears to be lots of blue and black and brown liquids on the surface, rarely clear? Its starts to get pretty interesting at about 45 seconds.

This accident took place November 19th, not sure when the pathway will be open to the public again.

One of the projects I have been working recently is related to the BNSF train collision and subsequent derailment and diesel spill located beside the North Delta Watershed.

On the morning of November 19th, 2023 a BNSF locomotive pulling fuel cars collided with another BNSF train right at the switching station just north of the truck pull-out on the 99a highway in North Delta.

Early photos seem to show that the Northbound train that was pulling fuel cars hit a second train that was hauling general freight.

I have a YouTube playlist which I am updating regularly with more videos shot from this location.

This video is taken at 11:00 am on the Monday morning following the accident. The purple liquid you see on the surface very much looks like deisel. I'm not sure what the the brownish liquid to the right of the purple liquid is.
