More than just cameras, it’s the connections we make along the way. 📷

A year ago, Daniel came to Vancouver from Texas for work. As a passionate film photographer and Leica enthusiast, he quickly became a familiar face at our Leica Boutique in Richmond, stopping by throughout the year to talk about cameras, lenses, and our shared love for photography.

Yesterday marked his final visit before heading back home to Texas, and we couldn’t let him leave without capturing one last memory together.

This photo of Daniel and Michael was taken with Daniel’s vintage Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1. It’s incredible how much sharpness and beautiful depth of field this classic instant camera can still deliver after all these years.

Photography has always been about more than the equipment. It’s about the people, conversations, and friendships that come with it.

Thank you for all the wonderful conversations over the past year, Daniel. Wishing you all the best back in Texas, and we hope our paths cross again someday!
