Alexis Dayfoot

Alexis Dayfoot I love music, travelling, and photography. Former Radio Arts and Entertainment Student at BCIT. Occasionally I help out with VIES Magazine.

Graduate of the BCIT Radio Arts and Entertainment program, and have experience as an On-Air Host, Music Director, Video Story Producer, Interviewer, and Photographer. Most of what you see here is my photography. I enjoy photographing everything from casual things to concerts. I've been interested in photography for a long time, but never really looked into it until thinking about shooting concerts

. It's a really important pleasure/hobby of mine, and I love capturing a moment and being able to share it and see it whenever you could want after that moment. I love to travel, and I love documenting things for myself and being able to share other people's joy through a photograph. If you are interested in anything else, you can contact me at my email address provided or send me a personal message to my page and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Twitter:

Haven't photographed a gig in a few months, so I felt a bit bambish the other night, but a major thanks for having me shoot 💖 hope to get back to shooting shows more often, made me realise how much I've missed it. What was the last gig you went to? @ VENUE

The whole time I was taking photos of Mckenna Reubens during this shoot the song running through my head was Rabbit Heart by Florence + the Machine. She put so much time into the concept of this shoot and how it would look and I'm happy I was able to help her with it. It was also fun to try and dodge all the passerbys in the park. @ Tynehead Regional Park

When I heard Cub Sport for the first time last year, it was like finding two unexpected puzzle pieces come together to form the bigger picture for me. They started to be my go-to when I was feeling lost, or I didn't have a purpose. They became the soundtrack when I had no idea what I wanted from my life. Within 6 months, they became my 3rd most listened to artist of 2018.
Hearing their new album is like seeing the flowers bloom in spring after going through a harsh winter. Your heart bursts with joy, and there's a smile laced on your lips, ready to spread as you see the flowers blossom.
Thank you Cub Sport for sharing an album which is so intimately detailed, honest, and empowering. In the short time I've been listening, it's been beautiful to watch you flourish. 👼✨💖

I'm left staring in awe, so much life beyond my control, but it's better that way • here are some of my favourite photos I took this year. From golden hours at the beach, to surviving the rain at SKOOKUM, to some of my favourite people.

A lot of my favourites are out of focus, in a flash so fast that I couldn't even try to comprehend them until I looked back on them at my computer.

Others are reflective in a sense, a momentary pause stuck in thought.

Sometimes the best moments you capture are the ones that seem to be out of your control. (These are the landscape ones). @ Vancouver, British Columbia
