As an avid photographer, hiker, and environmental scientist, I've been able to see lots of beautiful and amazing natural wonders. I've been lucky enough to see the northern lights dancing, glaciers calving, gigantic waterfalls, whales breaching, hurricane winds, rain in the desert, black and red sand beaches, bioluminescence, and more. I don't think I've ever seen anything as beautiful as the glow of golden larches in the alpine sunlight, though. It really is one of the most fleeting and breath-taking natural phenomena on Earth.

I'm late to it but I couldn't not wish my brother a happy birthday. Y'all already know Chirag is one of the best friends you could ever ask for, and he's been a huge part of my life for more than a decade now. Check out Chirag looking hella cool after a hike to a cave behind a waterfall this past summer. These days, you can catch the man kicking my ass on the tennis court. Happy Birthday, bro!

The bugs in the Rocky Mountains are RELENTLESS. Chirag and I were getting absolutely killed by the mosquitoes. They didn't care about any bug sprays. I could hear the mosquitoes laughing in our faces for pulling out a bottle of Off. We lost a lot of blood for this shot.

Amanda and I play Fall Guys on PS4 together while video chatting and last night I got to witness this tiny, soft-spoken human lose a round and then scream "THAT'S IT I QUIT I HATE THIS STUPID GAME" and then just SPIKE HER PS4 CONTROLLER INTO THE FLOOR AT FULL SPEED and literally just walk away and go to bed. I can't believe that level of entertainment is free.

My car's backup camera stopped working a couple weeks ago and today I decided to MAN UP and do something about it. So I ordered parts, took the trunk apart, removed the old camera, unwired the proprietary electrical/video harness, sliced open all the wires and stripped them, cut open a new aftermarket camera that has different connections, sliced open its wires, wired the old proprietary harness into the new aftermarket camera, rewired the whole thing back into the old system and then back into the trunk, and then put the trunk back together. I AM MAN HEAR ME LAUGH MANIACALLY AT SAVING LIKE $350.

This trip was an unbelievable opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful parts of Canada without the busloads of tourists from around the world. There were almost no cars in the parking lot and almost no people watching this sunrise. I basically sat here alone for more than an hour.
