Imagelicious https://www.imagelicious.com/ Hello, I'm Julia. My love affair with food started about 10 years ago when I got mesmerized with the magic of baking.

I got so interested in it that I went to George Brown College for over a year to complete a series of courses and receive Bakery Arts Certificate. So, there are a lot of baking recipes on the blog. I cook simple and quick food most of the time. I try to eat healthy, but I don't follow any of the popular diets that are so in right now. I love roasting food in the oven instead of pan-frying to reduc

e fat in recipes. I use very little salt in my seasoning as I find that there's enough natural salt in most foods. I can't eat many vegetables unfortunately due to some weird health issues, so although I love cooking vegetarian, there are not many vegetable dishes.

I’ve been enjoying Korean food this week! This time it was and it was amazing! I went with my friend and our kids and we all had a blast trying different dishes and enjoying copious Banchan. It’s always fun to go with a big group. I will definitely be back for the crunchy rice at the bottom of my BiBimBap pot. It was amazing!

πŸ‡°πŸ‡· Korealicious 2026 is the first annual event celebrating Korean cuisine and culture, featuring a variety of Korean restaurants offering 15–20% off signature menu items from June 12–28.

Fun bonus: has dry clean closets for jackets. This way they don’t get permeated with bbq and smokey smells while you eat. I found it really thoughtful, clever, and convenient.

Thank you for having me

I had the best Korean meal at 🍜 I was a bit nervous as I wasn’t familiar with some of the dishes but the staff was extremely helpful and explained everything.

We tried:
βœ… Spicy Beef Soup with Noodles - very spicy but very delicious! After the initial hit of spice, I had tears in my eyes. But after a few bites I got used to the spiciness and we finished the whole bowl. My friend is still talking about it. It was so good!!
βœ… Mul Naengmyun - thin buckwheat noodles in icy cold broth. Unique combination but very delicious and refreshing. Perfect for the summer heat. I’ll be back for it as well.
βœ… Kong Kalguksu - noodles on cold soybean broth. This one is definitely an acquired taste. I’m glad I tried it and I can see how it would be delicious on a summer day with a bit of salt and chili oil perhaps.
βœ… Mandoo - I loved loved loved these gyozas! I’m definitely coming back for them. They were juicy, flavourful, really delicious!

Thank you for having me

Here are 3 things to level up your food photography πŸ‘‡

1. You don’t need fancy light equipment. All you need is a nice window to the left or right of your food. Natural side light is absolutely amazing.
2. Invest in backdrops, not props. Plates and cups are essential, of course!! But most people have some kind of a neutral plate and fork hiding in their cupboards already. No need to buy more. However, getting a few backdrops will significantly improve your food photography. Just a few neutral vinyl backdrops to begin with.
3. Study food photos that you love and see what specifically you love about them. Is it a few crumbs on the table? The way the camera is positioned? Colours? Food photography can be learned and there are some formulas and techniques that can be applied to every photo.

Comment or DM me FOOD STYLING and I’ll send you a link to my food styling book on Amazon where I describe in step by step details all the tricks to stunning food styling!
