I got so interested in it that I went to George Brown College for over a year to complete a series of courses and receive Bakery Arts Certificate. So, there are a lot of baking recipes on the blog. I cook simple and quick food most of the time. I try to eat healthy, but I don't follow any of the popular diets that are so in right now. I love roasting food in the oven instead of pan-frying to reduc

e fat in recipes. I use very little salt in my seasoning as I find that there's enough natural salt in most foods. I can't eat many vegetables unfortunately due to some weird health issues, so although I love cooking vegetarian, there are not many vegetable dishes.

Hey - I feel like I am an honourary Finnish already but I’d love to 🇫🇮 This is my submission for the contest run by 💙

It was so fun making this video. I loved trying Karelian pies - I wasn’t sure what to expect with the rice filling but it was delicious and the rye pastry was flavourful and crunchy.

It turned out that I drink coffee like a real Finn also ☕️ 🤣 And have been a staple in my pantry for about two decades now!

I remember watching cartoons when I was very little and they still hold a special place in my heart. So much so that a few years ago I started collecting Moomin coffee cups. I have four so far!

I’ve been to many restaurants in my life but must be the most unique one I’ve visited. It’s been six days since my visit and I still cannot stop thinking and talking about it.

Food isn’t the main point of the experience. It’s the darkness!

For one hour, while eating, you get to experience what it is like to be visually impaired. Complete darkness. Not a speck of light. Absolutely no visual stimuli.

You are served by visually impaired waiters and they help you along the way. For an even more unique experience, you can order surprise meals, so you get to use your other senses to figure out what you are eating.

I am already planning my second visit and I want to bring my mom and possibly my daughter. I highly recommend trying this out. Absolutely amazing and unique activity!

Yesterday I got a chance to try the most delicious and beautiful drinks at .ca 🥤 UK specialty tea shop, now open at Commerce Gate in Thornhill, Ontario.

I’m normally a no frills boba or plain latte girl but this time I let my inner child choose what to order based on how pretty the drinks looked in photos 🥰 And you know what? They weren’t just pretty! They were also delicious!

We tried:
🥤 Tiramisu brown sugar milk boba
🍓 Strawberry peach tea frappe
🥭 Mango coconut matcha
🍨 Matcha gelato

Verdict: all were amazing! My daughter loved her brown sugar milk boba. It was her first time trying milk boba as she usually gets greet tea without milk but she really enjoyed the milky flavour. If you love sweet drinks, Mango Matcha is great - mango layer is sweet and the matcha layer is fragrant and earthy. Strawberry peach tea frappe was quite refreshing, I loved that it wasn’t very sweet except for the cream top.

I got a bag of these mini churros when I attended the show a few months ago. My daughter absolutely loved the sample churros I brought home and when I went back on my second day, I chatted with the owner, gave him my daughter’s glowing feedback and he gave me a whole bag to take home and bake with her 🙏

It seems that my bag still has old packaging design but the new bags that are now available in grocery stores are clearly labeled as ❤️

Regardless of packaging, these churros are absolutely awesome 🤩 It’s easy to just say that you like some product but I actually genuinely do with many reasons:
1. Actually delicious!
2. Super easy to make as they are already baked and only need 8 minutes in the oven.
3. I don’t need to make a whole bag, I can just make a few at a time.
4. I can control the amount of cinnamon sugar I put on them.
5. They are small enough and their calories are clearly labeled on the packaging, so I can easily fit them into my diet.
6. Did I mention they taste amazing? I think I did but it requires another point as they are super yummy!
