I believe its a zebra jumping spider, and half a cm long. Super cute!

Warrior of the Lupins, pt 1.
"All the truth in the world is held in stories." P. Rothfuss.

The flowers were in full force for this shoot with , at my favorite wildflower spot in town. Working in a couple new to me techniques for shooting, and leaning a little bit more into the 'fantasy' editing.

Rain on Japanese Maple in a rooftop garden. Needed a break and an escape from the noise during a convention. It was raining so no one was using the garden area and so i took advantage of the moment.

I was lucky enough this week to catch a glimpse of a wee little northern saw-whet owl!! How cute is it?! We ended up just sitting with it for probably a half hour watching it and hoping one of thr parents would stop to check in.
This little one seemed to just be waking up and getting ready for some evening hunting practice.
