Overwhelmed….

That’s kinda how we’re feeling right now. Trying to get our house reno’s finished so it’s ready for the market ASAP (ish stayed up till 1am tiling last night 😬), pivoting this business for our move to southern Ontario, thinking about starting to pack (HA that is not happening yet), all while staying on top of life and trying to stay joyful and thankful through the process.

It’s all good things. Just a lot at once :) we’d love your thoughts and prayers as we make this massive transition. So thankful I get to do life with my best friend. No one i’d rather go on this adventure with!

Winter wedding brides!! Where you at? This one’s for you 🙃

Did you know you don’t have to freeze on your wedding day?! SAY WHAAAAT?! I know, mind boggling. 😂

My best tip for you is to buy a pair of n**e, fleece lined leggings to wear under your dress. This goes for bridesmaids too!! No one will ever know 🤫 pair that with a cute cloak or warm shawl and even a pair of cute boots (they’ll be hidden under your dress so again, NO ONE WILL KNOW).

I can tell you right now, this will allow you to actually enjoy your day without worrying about frostbite 🥶 haha! And it’s super adorable for photos too :)

Embrace the cold and bundle up. You’ll thank me if you do!!

You're ENGAGED?!?! Congrats. seriously, SO HAPPY for you. How're you feeling?!

Let me guess... A whole lot excited and a bit overwhelmed about where to start. Let me help!! :)

Here are the first 3 things you need to do to start planning your wedding :)

1. Celebrate!!! Tell all your friends and family, pop some champagne, hug your dog, you do you.

2. Pick a date that you're happy with and then reach out to the people in your life that you couldn't imagine getting married without. Make sure that date works for them. Perhaps discuss a few dates just in case your top vendors are booked.

3. Book your vendors. The top 3 that need to be booked first are... A planner, a venue, and a photographer. They can book years in advance so those are top priorities!

And there ya have it... don't rush the process, enjoy it!! Remember, this is supposed to be fun :) If you're feeling overwhelmed or have any questions about getting started on planning, send me a DM! Why have a session in your home?? Because this is where you make your memories. You need photos that cause you to remember moments like this…all the times you sat on your bed with your baby girl, laughing, snuggling, and crying 😉 sometimes maybe both of you.

These sorts of photos only get sweeter with time. 🤍

Working on this gallery today so I had to share the sweetest little face! she literally is perfect 😍

My goal is to have all of my editing done before Christmas for all of my current sessions so I can take a few weeks off! I’m on track so far 🤞🏽so wish me luck! Haha

She said yesssss!! 😍💍

Amy and Richard booked a couple a nights in a dome at Glen Oro Farm]. A couple months prior to their stay, Richard reached out to me about his idea to propose! I was so excited to help him make his vision come to life and capture it for him!!

Well, on Monday, it happened! And he got her good! She was so surprised.

More details later (including the incredible winter picnic set up they had!) but for now, here’s a photo of Richard proposing to Amy. Had us all in tears!! The sweetest moment.

Delivered my final wedding gallery of the year tonight 😃 man I have been working so hard to get these galleries finished! Feels so good to be done and know all of my 2021 couples have their photos!! 😃

Only 2 more sessions to go and I’ll be done for the year :) looking forward to a bit of a break until the new year.
