New York City 🎨

My New York City painting is finally starting to come together, and I’m having so much fun loosening up and letting myself experiment.

I’ve been adding inks and spray paint to bring more energy and movement into the piece. I’m almost there, but I’m waiting for my neon paints to arrive so I can really work on the glow of the streetlights and signage. ✨

It’s been a bit of a process, but I’m loving where it’s going. I’ll share the finished piece soon!

New York in Progress

My New York City painting is still a work in progress, but I’m loving watching it come to life one brushstroke at a time. 🗽🎨

There’s something about New York—the energy, the buildings, the lights, the feeling of always having somewhere to go—that makes it such a fun city to paint.

I’m not quite finished yet, so I’d love to hear your thoughts! What would you add, change, or do differently? I’m always open to suggestions. ❤️

Cleaned and cleared out my art studio this morning. This is about 90% of all the canvases I took out of there. The rest are hanging in the hallway! Now the gym room is full. 😂 😂 😂
Scrubbed the floor, because I had a lot of paint marks. Peeled a paint blob from the wall, and all the layers of paint came off causing a big hole. Pulled apart almost an entire wall. Now I have a whole new project on my hands.
Has this ever happened to you! 🤷
